Garages, driveways and airfields. Whatever you drive, the wheel comes off, the tyre is changed and balanced, and it goes back on with every nut torqued.
Tyre Replacement Procedure
Only once every stage is done is our service to you complete.
Locking off of the wheel nuts.
The vehicle is then jacked into position using manufacturers recommended jacking points.
Once the car is jacked, we remove the nuts completely with our power torque wrenches. Then take the wheel off the vehicle.
We remove all the existing balance weight from the wheel before placing it onto our state of the art tyre removal/fitting machine.
Using this automated machine, we remove the tyre from the wheel ensuring no damage is done to the rim in the process.
Ensure the wheel inner rim is clean.
Replacement of the old valve with a correctly fitted new valve.
Mounting of the new tyre onto the wheel using the same machine we used to remove the old tyre.
The wheel is then inflated to the correct manufacturers recommended pressure for the tyre and vehicle in question.
Wheel is removed from the tyre-fitting machine and mounted into place on the computerised wheel-balancing machine.
Once a discrepancy is found within the balance of the wheel, the computerised balancer locates this and the correct weight is added onto the rim of the wheel to balance the wheel out.
The wheel is then remounted onto the hub, then using existing wheel nuts, the wheel is tightened onto the car using air powered torque wrench.
The vehicle is lowered off the jack and all wheel nuts are checked for correct torque.
Back on your way, without leaving the house.

Called late night on 30/12/23 as a pot hole had blown one of my tyres. They offered to come out within 90 mins to replace the tyre.
My car was being recovered by the AA, when I called them to say I was home and ready when they were, they asked if I’d prefer to come out the next day (new years eve) as it was a cheaper call out and would save me money - amazing service!
The engineer arrived earlier than the time given, promptly fixed my tyre and gave me advice regarding the damage the pot hole caused.
For the time of year, call out time and quality of the workmanship given the price was amazing- I was initially expecting to pay double what I did.

Tyre advice
A few minutes checking your tyres now is nothing next to your safety and your family’s.
The main reason a tyre has tread is to disperse water efficiently. The less tread you have, the more likely you are to skid or aquaplane on wet roads and lose steering control.
It is illegal to run a tyre with less than 1.6mm of tread round the entire outer circumference of the tyre. Tyre manufacturers build tread wear indicator bars into the tread which become visible at 1.6mm. Wet weather braking and cornering reduce considerably as the tyre wears down, so we strongly advise that you change your tyres before you reach the legal limit.
The penalty is severe: a compulsory driving licence endorsement of three penalty points and a fine of up to £2,500 for each illegal tyre.
Did you know that you are not insured when driving on illegal tyres? A worn tyre reduces the effectiveness of braking, steering and acceleration, all of which are vital in staying safe.
Check these at least once a month, if not every few weeks:
Changing a tyre at the roadside can be a dangerous job. A hazard-warning triangle placed well back from the car, a fluorescent body strap and your hazard lights all help oncoming traffic see you, especially on blind bends and dark winter evenings.
Repairing a tyre is not as straightforward as you first might think. Tyre repairs are covered by BSAU159f:1990, which splits repairs into minor and major repairs and sets limits on the location, size and number of repairs that can be carried out. A tyre must always be checked thoroughly before it is repaired.
